Official Regulations for the Darkness Reigns Horror Film Festival

ELIGIBILITY

1. Entries that have screened on US television prior to the Festival ARE eligible for a Festival screening.

2. Productions produced after January 2003 are eligible.

3. Productions must be submitted on a data DVD or CDrom. OR you may provide either a streamable or downloadable link so that we can view your short or feature online.

4. All entries will be viewed by at least 2 programmers.

5. Entrant confirms and warrants required legal authority to submit the entry into the Festival and to use all music, images and content in the entry.

6. Entrant will allow usage of clips from the entry and all related publicity material submitted for promotional use on television, radio, in print, web and at live Festival events.

7. All entries must be either in English or contain English subtitles. Non-English entries submitted without subtitles or with supplementary printed translations will be automatically disqualified.

8. DVD's and CDroms WILL NOT BE RETURNED.

ENTRY REGULATIONS

1. Only completed entries (including entry form, payment, and the DVDrom or CDrom) will be processed and considered for screening. Entry form may be either submitted online (in which case you will also need to pay online and provide the transaction number) or printed and mailed to the address.

2. Entrant's name, address, running time and the production's title must be on each DVDrom or CDrom. PLEASE CHECK THE BOX ON THE SUBMISSION FORM FOR WHICH HORROR CATEGORY YOUR FILM FITS... MORE THAN ONE CAN BE CHOSEN

SHIPPING

The cost of shipping an entry to the festival must be paid by the entrant. Collect or COD shipments will not be accepted.

All international entries must be sent “free domicile” to the Festival office with all transportation charges, duties, and taxes prepaid by the shipper. Be sure to include all the proper customs documentation required by your shipping service.
